A cast of major West End singers are to star in the British premiere of the Off-Broadway hit, ‘Make Me A Song’, celebrating the songs of William Finn, one of the most acclaimed composer-lyricists currently writing for the musical theatre.
Winner of Tony Awards for Best Book and Best Score for the groundbreaking musical ‘Falsettos’ in 1992, William Finn’s latest Broadway musical is the Tony-nominated ‘The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee’. Featuring classics from these shows together with rarely heard songs from ‘Romance in Hard Times’, ‘Elegies’ and the yet to- be-produced ‘The Royal Family’, ‘Make Me a Song’ is big, boisterous and life-loving, like Finn himself.
